  THE CURE FOR CANCER

meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

Jesus yoke is made of two intersecting timbers; one vertical and one horizontal.

To be yoked with Jesus is the same as being crucified with him, (as in

Galatians 2:20) or taking up our cross and following him in Luke 9:22-24

" Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. 23 ¶And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

This passage illustrates the yoke and cross parallel. Jesus says, "I'm going to Jerusalem to be killed, I'm taking my cross, you bring yours too. His cross killed his body for our sins; our cross puts to death our sinful habits and addictions. (tumors)

The cross for us means giving up those tumors that are killing us. It doesn't mean gritting our teethe in determination and saying I will never do it again, because mere human resolve will fall far short of curing us. It does mean that we hold our tumors up to Jesus and say, "here, take it, I'm done with it." Jesus will never take from us what we are still hanging on to. The cross means, "I am OK with never doing it again." It is not doing it less, and  wearing a nicotine patch. It means total surrender. Not only of the addictions that are strangling us but of all our sins. Our entire lives must be laid at Jesus' feet. He will not be savior unless he can be lord of our lives as well.

When we are crucified with Christ then we will also be raised with him in a new life of power for victory over sin.

This brings us to step number two which is accepting God's healing by faith. Read this beautiful example of healing by faith.

LUKE 8:43 ¶And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

This lady was a down and outer; she had spent all her resources but came up empty. Then she heard of Jesus. She thought surely this man with all his miracle working power can heal me. She came with her need and her faith. She thought," if only I can touch him", and one touch is all it took. Her healing was immediate.

(Galatians 2:8) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God":

Faith is the garden hose through which the water of grace flows. It is the electrical wire through which the current of his virtue can travel.

Jesus asked, "who touched me", they said it's just the crowd. Jesus said, "no because I felt virtue go out of me".

Jesus is the storehouse of virtue. He is "full of grace----"; all we need is connectivity!

There is a cancer treatment that uses electro-magnetic frequencies to destroy tumors. When we by faith get connected to Jesus, the electro-magnetic current of his grace flows out of him and zaps our tumors of lust, of hate, of alcohol and drug abuse, and you fill in the blanks. He still feels virtue flow out of him today when we repent of our sins and believe in him!

There is a cure for cancer! It's surrender at the cross of Christ and by faith reaching out and touching the hem of his garment. It's," repent and believe the gospel." ST Mark 1:15  That's the cure for the cancer of sin.

Jesus didn't say come back for another treatment. No, she was cured!

With cancer treatments today some treatments work for some cancers and others don't. Not so with The Great Physician. His treatments work every time!

Cancer can always recur, but now you know the remedy! Take up the cross daily and daily trust his grace for victory. Not only does Jesus break the power of our sinful habits he washes our old sins away as though they had never happened.

(I John 1:9) "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

That is the cure for cancer. That is your cure for cancer. It is the only cure for cancer. Use it my friend, and be made whole!
